Basic valuation document: a simplified valuation is provided, which includes all or part of the following aspects: title/denomination, authorship/production centre, manufacture location, date, materials, dimensions, images. As a conclusion, a suggested current market price is provided. The length of this document is usually 1 page.

Valuation document: it provides a detailed analysis which includes all or part of the following aspects: category, type, inventory identification, title/denomination, authorship/production centre, manufacture location, date, materials, dimensions, description, heraldry, signatures/marks/stamps, inscriptions, images. As a conclusion, up to two-three of the following estimates are provided: 1) the price range the item could reach at auction in the country where it is located, 2) the price range the item could reach at international auction, and 3) a suggested current market price. The length of this document is usually 2-3 pages, depending on the item and the collected information.

Report document: it comprises a thorough study which includes all or part of the following aspects: category, type, inventory identification, title/denomination, authorship/production centre, manufacture location, date, provenance, exhibitions, materials, dimensions, description, conservation status, heraldry, signatures/marks/stamps, inscriptions, images and reasoned valuation. As a conclusion, up to two-three reasoned estimates are provided, of the following, with reference pieces (similar to the one analysed): 1) the price range the item could reach at auction in the country where it is located, 2) the price range the item could reach at international auction, and 3) a suggested current market price. The length of this document is usually more than 7 pages, depending on the item and the collected information.
